Pictures of the Year

Check out the Pictures I have posted. This year I want to upload a year worth of pictures every month. So come back soon. I’m starting back in 1999 when I first started using a digital camera.

I can’t say I never used a film camera but the first camera I purchased was a digital camera, back when people still didn’t know what they were. It was a Sony Mavica, and it recorded pictures onto a 3.5″ 1.4 MB 2HD floppy disk. I choose this camera because memory was expensive and very limited. If I remember correctly they only had like 2 and 4 MB memory sticks. The floppy was 1.4 MB but on my trip to New York City I was armed with a box of 50 disk. Each disk held about 10 images in what was then called hi resolution and over 23 in low resolution with the option to take 60 seconds of video. To me it was unlimited pictures compared to film, because if I ran out of space I could go buy more disks.

Check out the 1999 pictures. They include pictures from the assemblies, my trip to New York, San Felipe, my cousins visit to So. Cal and my visit to Huatabampo.

If you would like to download these pictures let me know and I’ll send you a link.
